Homework

Homework will begin the last week of August. Students will have reading and math homework Monday-Thursday. Book projects and social studies projects will also take place throughout the school year. 

Reading Homework 

Students should be reading fifteen minutes in English and fifteen minutes in Spanish. After reading, students should complete a short reflection on their reading response page. Students are given a new reading response page at the beginning of every week. Below you will find copies of the reading response questions in both languages and a copy of the page students should write their reflection on. 

Math Homework 

Students are assigned one to two problems of math homework Monday-Thursday. Should your child lose, or forget their homework packet, they should copy the problem on a sheet of paper from the digital copy below. Check out the Math Resources page for help with math homework. I especially recommend using Khan Academy. 

Fifth grade math homework is currently on unit 5.2 in English. 

Fourth grade math homework is currently on unit 4.2 in Spanish.
